Terms of Use

Effective date: 23 October 2026 · Applies to the Me2Beauty app on iOS and Android and to me2.beauty

The short version ✌️

  • Your photos are yours. We don't claim any rights to them, and they stay on your device.
  • Me2Beauty is free to use. Me2Beauty Pro is an optional subscription that renews automatically until you cancel in your App Store or Google Play account.
  • Credits and gifts are perks inside the app, not money.
  • Be kind: don't use Me2Beauty to deceive, harass or impersonate anyone.

Agreement

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and the developer and publisher of Me2Beauty (“Me2Beauty”, “we”, “us”). By downloading, opening or using the Me2Beauty app or this website (together, the “Service”), you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.

Who can use Me2Beauty

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your country, to use Me2Beauty. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, you may use Me2Beauty only with the permission of a parent or guardian, who agrees to these Terms on your behalf. Purchases must be made by, or with the permission of, an adult.

Your account

  • You can use Me2Beauty without an account. Signing in with Apple or Google is optional.
  • You’re responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your Apple or Google account secure.
  • You can delete your account at any time in the app under Me › Account & security › Delete account. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription; see Subscriptions & payments.

Your photos & content

  • You own your photos. Photos you take or import, and the edited images you create (“Your Content”), belong to you. Me2Beauty processes them on your device and does not upload them, so we do not receive or need any licence to Your Content.
  • Your responsibility. Only edit photos you have the right to use. If a photo shows other people, make sure you have their permission to edit and share it.
  • Feedback. If you send us ideas or suggestions, we may use them without any obligation to you.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Me2Beauty to:

  • create or share content that is illegal, sexually exploits or endangers minors, or depicts anyone in a sexual way without their consent;
  • harass, bully, defame, threaten or impersonate anyone, or edit someone’s image to mock or humiliate them;
  • create fraudulent or misleading documents — for example, falsifying an ID photo so that it no longer shows your true likeness, or using edited images to deceive in identity verification;
  • infringe anyone’s copyright, trademark, privacy or publicity rights;
  • reverse engineer, decompile, copy, resell or create derivative works of the app, except where the law allows despite this restriction;
  • interfere with our servers, bypass limits or security measures, claim gifts or credits through automated means, multiple fake installs or other abuse;
  • use the app in breach of any law or of the App Store or Google Play terms.

ID photos. Official photo rules (passports, visas, national ID cards) differ by country and authority. Me2Beauty helps with size, crop and background, but we can’t guarantee that a photo will be accepted. Check the current requirements of the authority before you print or submit, and don’t use beauty or reshape tools on official photos where they are not allowed.

To report content in the app that shouldn’t be there, use Me › Report content or email [email protected].

Subscriptions & payments

Me2Beauty is free to download and use. Me2Beauty Pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription that unlocks premium looks, tools and limits as described in the app at the time of purchase.

  • Billing. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account (App Store) or Google account (Google Play) when you confirm the purchase, or when a free trial ends. The price and billing period (for example, weekly) are shown in the app before you buy and may vary by country and currency.

  • Automatic renewal. Your subscription renews automatically for the same period and price unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.

  • Free trials. If a free trial is offered (for example, 3 days), it is available to eligible new subscribers only. If you don’t cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the subscription starts and you are charged. Any unused part of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription.

  • Managing and cancelling. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time:

    • iPhone / iPad: Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions, or in the app under Me › Manage subscription.
    • Android: Google Play › Profile › Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions.

    Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Pro until the end of the period you’ve paid for. Uninstalling the app or deleting your account does not cancel a subscription.

  • Refunds. Purchases are processed by Apple or Google, and their refund policies apply. You can request a refund from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com or from Google through Google Play. We cannot issue refunds for store purchases ourselves. Nothing in these Terms limits any refund or cancellation rights you have under consumer law.

  • Restore purchases. If you reinstall or change devices, tap Restore purchases in the app while signed in to the same Apple or Google account.

  • Price changes. We may change subscription prices. Apple or Google will notify you in advance, and where required you’ll be asked to agree before the new price applies.

Credits & gifts

  • Me2Beauty may offer free credits, a welcome gift or limited-time gift campaigns. Each offer shows its amount, eligibility and end date in the app.
  • Credits are a limited, revocable licence to use certain features in the app. They have no cash value, cannot be sold, transferred or exchanged for money, and are not refundable.
  • Gifts are limited per person and per device. We may refuse, cancel or remove gifts and credits obtained through fraud, bugs or abuse of these Terms.
  • We may change or end gift programmes and the features credits can be used for at any time. Unused credits may be lost if you delete your account or the app, where they aren’t linked to an account.

Our app & content

The app, its design, looks, presets, filters, makeup styles, templates, logos and software belong to us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial use, under these Terms and the applicable store rules.

Sample and template photos shown in the app are licensed from third parties (including Unsplash). The people in them do not endorse Me2Beauty. You may not extract or redistribute these sample photos.

Me2Beauty includes open-source software, used under its own licences. Those licences are listed with the app and take precedence for those components.

Third-party services

Me2Beauty works with services we don’t control, including Sign in with Apple, Google Sign-In, the App Store and Google Play. Your use of them is governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for them.

Changes to the app and these Terms

We’re always improving Me2Beauty, so features may be added, changed or removed, and some may require an app update. We may update these Terms from time to time. We’ll post the new version here with a new effective date and, for significant changes, tell you in the app. If you keep using Me2Beauty after the changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms.

Ending these Terms

You can stop using Me2Beauty at any time by deleting your account and uninstalling the app. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms, or if we have to for legal reasons. If we stop offering the Service entirely, we’ll give you reasonable notice where we can. Sections that by their nature should survive (such as your content, our app and content, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity and governing law) continue after termination.

Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by law, Me2Beauty is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't promise that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free or always available, or that any edit, ID photo or result will meet your expectations or any official requirement.

Me2Beauty is a creative photo tool. Edited images do not represent real changes to your appearance and are not medical, cosmetic or professional advice. Keep your own copies of photos you care about — we don’t store them and can’t recover them.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, photos, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for Me2Beauty Pro in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) USD 50.

Some countries don’t allow these exclusions or limits, so they may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded by law, including your statutory consumer rights.

Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend and hold us harmless from claims, losses and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Service, Your Content, or your breach of these Terms.

Apple & Google

If you downloaded Me2Beauty from the Apple App Store: these Terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, has no obligation to provide maintenance or support, and, to the maximum extent permitted by law, has no other warranty obligation regarding the app; if the app fails to meet any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any). Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to the app, including product liability, legal or regulatory compliance, consumer protection or intellectual property claims. You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a “terrorist supporting” country, and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. Your use of the app must also comply with Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement; where these Terms are silent, that agreement applies.

If you downloaded Me2Beauty from Google Play: your use is also subject to the Google Play Terms of Service. Google is not a party to these Terms and is not responsible for the app.

Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before filing a claim, please contact us at [email protected] so we can try to resolve it informally within 30 days. If we can’t, disputes will be handled by the competent courts of Vietnam. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live and may bring a claim in your local courts.

General

These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the Service. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. If we don’t enforce a right, we haven’t waived it. You may not transfer these Terms without our consent; we may transfer them as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. These Terms may be translated; if there’s a conflict, the English version applies unless local law requires otherwise.
